She needs to stop worrying about Riftan’s reaction about her unfortunate experiences growing up. I doubt Riftan doesn’t have a slightest idea of how she suffered from her family. Her worries about Riftan not wanting her if he knows the truth is so annoying already. She needs to grow a backbone. Haaai.. She needs a big scene for her to realize her worth as person.
I hope she’s able to overcome her anxiety and finally tell him what her life had been like living with her “father” who treated her horribly. I can’t even imagine how she feels going through all of that… once you begin to feel worthless no matter how much someone tells you they love you it still feels like it’s all just pity love and that they will leave the moment you mess up or they get bored with you…
not me being shocked over how it’s still ongoing and this is the latest chapter. and gurl what is it with manhuas where the man is the “owner” of his wife. like damn is it truly bc of time the manhuas are playing at or just a typical manhua thingy? maxi really said (couple chapters ago) that she is riftans property. i find myself being so uncomfortable with a lot of manhuas bc of such matters that’s why i wonder. recently i have tried reading another manhua and what happened.. that guy r*ped her in the first chapter PLS they always be doing that to the girls in the first chapters.. maybe manhuas aren’t really for me.. still gonna read this i’m already hooked. maxi better be getting a grip (even though i understand, it’s just frustrating for the reader) and believe riftan actually kinda knows more? like he is sensing stuff

Is it always this slow with the comics? I mean the story is crawling on the ground and there is no romance either. They are not together most of the story. There is not even a single “I love you” offs. And like everybody said, Maxi needs to make peace with her past and come clean to Riftan because it’s so annoying to read how she thinks they would kick her out of the castle for the entire 46 chapters.
