   I will recommend this story.
   For people who do not seek pink and blinding love romance.
   But for those who are ready to see how cruel, brutal, greedy and insane people can be, be it in that time era/age or in the modern nowadays era/age.
   But allso how much a simple hand or words can change one person life.
   (Currently read 25 chapters, when wrinting this.)

   the art is beautiful, and it had a strong beginning (nothing creative, just well reasoned), but it soon declined. it’s quite unfortunate, because I wanted to like this story (since I do like Edith, the FL, and sympathize with her), but there’s so many flaws it’s hard to overlook. first of all, the ML is the bare minimum kind that is most selfish, and kinda creepy, but it seems “cute” to some people because the FL’s family is so terrible. what’s even sadder about it is that it’d be easy to correct his behavior to make him an actual likeable and gentle ML, but it seems the author was purposeful in making him a shitty partner, though I don’t think they realized how shitty it’d come across to some (me). I hope it’d be for future personal growth, but I doubt it. it seems one of those cases where they think it makes him “cool” to be inconsiderate, nosy, a bit controlling and demanding. it’s all part of a manly cold persona after all (rolls eyes). another thing it’s hard to get past is how much this story relies on cheap drama. it’s always about physical abuse and unreasonable (boring even) cruel behaviors from everyone around FL, without any actual developed context or built up. they are cruel so FL can be pitiful and thus is so well justified in enacting “rightful revenge” (even though it’d be already enough to enact revenge over her mother’s death to begin with). I was hoping that by the duke being the third prince and clearly seen as threat by everyone around him, including his own father (the king), this story would make better use of a political scene prone to be interesting, but instead it’s all wasted to make FL suffer unnecessarily and ML “rescue” her in a stupid way. it’s almost too lazy to be entertaining. if the art wasn’t so stunning I doubt anyone would still be reading this, since stories like this are a dozen a dime everywhere and anywhere. quite disappointing.
