It’s not like one is ever purposefully informant and unaware- that’s not her fault and she did wake up once out of that environment- it’s not like she stayed shameless or thought nothing of their lives, she simply didn’t know any different to know better. She means that she knew something about what was going on but she purposefully ignored things. She was in denial.

Just BC I read about what she’s going on now, it’s irresponsible of me to ignore what she denied.
She denied the existence of what she could have prevented. Maybe she wouldn’t have been able to but if she wouldn’t have been in denial and atleast tried to talk about it to her father (even though it might have not changed anything) she wouldn’t have to walk along with the burdens she’s been taking right now.
She knows it herself.
I’m not talking about what the male lead is inflicting on her. This comment is not about that so I don’t want anyone bickering about that here.

This is painful in a real way. They’re all victims but also sinners in this situation. If before Annete feel injustice, I think now she understood why this happened to her. I just hope she will make peace with herself soon and act on something to end this redemption arc and start her salvation one.

This is such a sad situation, because I can’t say that she shouldn’t work to try and make up for the things her family did, but she is not guilty of all the things they did. There are things she may be guilty of, but, that would be her willingness not to understand the situation of the people, whether she was ignorant or in denial, eventually, she became an adult who lived off their misdeeds and let it be that way. Who knows if she could have changed anything had she tried to learn, maybe not. Eventually, willful ignorance is a problem after all. She was not a child. It’s not entirely her fault, but at the same time, is it entirely an excuse? – this is so hard to explain because of how twisted these situations become.
Her treatment isn’t right thow. If they were going to dispatch the monarchy, it would be kinder to grant her death anyway. If they were going to let her live, it would be better she work in atonement. This is heedless. She even said that once she learned of the revolution and its reasons, she didn’t disagree. She doesn’t resent their revolution. She could become something else other than royalty and have a future that carries forgiveness, understanding, enlightenment, and even happiness.
