So the marriage from a very young age I know used to be a thing. Bleh. So for a change we are starting off with a mostly POS female lead who gradually matures and earns our respect? I will wait and see. So far she has more chemistry with the maid. Hubby is drool worthy though

It’s interesting bc most stories start with an unhinged trash ML who starts to become better over time and everyone loves them but in this story we get a FL who has been isolated and ostracized since a young age after being married off to someone way older than her while she was a child and then ran out of her home and forced to live in the gutters and now that she returns back to life to get a fresh start, people absolutely can’t stand her because she has a brash personality and is paranoid that the only thing keeping her current position safe (aka her marriage to the count) is being threatened in her eyes because all she hears about is rumors of her not being good enough and that the count must have a secret lover. Yet if this was coming from a ML y’all would love him.
