And let me guess, this is some lame attempt to make him play “hero” and have the slate wiped clean because she’s a naive simpleton who’s easy to please? They always write female characters in these situations as having a childlike demeanor that makes them unable to act or think rationally and wisely when it comes to men or anyone else. They remain permanently clueless and read too deep (and simple mindedly) into everything. “He dedicated his first hunt to me and protected me, that must mean he loves me and I should just ignore all the evil things he did to me!”
