Honestly, I’ve read enough of these to just be frustrated with this in the sense that she has what most FLs dream about. Yes, the servants of the house (may, although from their attitude from the first chapter I doubt it) see him as the head of house, but she legally in all aspects is the rightful owner of the Mansion and head of the family. Most FLs would have already tossed them out and his side piece. The only possible reason not to do so IS fear of some type of weird legal retribution, in which she needs to gain proof that he’s adulterous…
