She’s making me angry. Why fls always have to be in denial? Then when they get together there will be girl who loves ml and she will misunderstand. Maybe in this story it will be different but so far it’s same with other stories I read. Its cliche 😮💨

Nah that is interesting with how Ella is distanced from Cassius. She makes it clear she doesn’t hate him but they ARE strangers now and they weren’t even married. It’s been seven years and she thought he was dead for nearly all of it.. Cause imagine people actually moving ON with their lives.
It is a sad situation with Cassius but things aren’t the same with how much time has passed that she really doesn’t know him as a person. Not a lot of other stories explore that aspect with a time skip and I really like it.
She is being honest about her intentions in how she is pursuing a relationship with Edwin albeit not for the right reasons with the guilt from her dead mother guiding her there. That will be fun to address later on.
We know she will get back together with him but she doesn’t know that and what things will be like uprooting the life she established for herself and family for the past seven years.
