Its interesting to see FL actually getting involved in another relationship. She thought the Duke (viscount at the time) was dead after all and it happened gradually. It does have the unfortunate undertones of Ella repaying it but its still fascinating to see her gradually get involved with Edwin even if nothing really happens yet from it. She wasn’t lying and there does seem to be an interest there,.
Ella made a life for herself and moved on from Cassius and his return is a massive upheaval for everyone involved especially since she only recently learned he was alive this entire time. She didn’t lie about Greta being anyone else’ but she made her boundaries clear and it just a shitty situation. That said it will be fun to see Cassius involvement further along since he’ll probably want to be a part of Greta’s life too.
