If I remember right then Korean uses gender neutral pronouns when referring to someone. Which is why translations tend to get he/she mixed up, and also you/I.
I remember it because there was this comic I read ages ago that was translated to English and at one point two characters are talking about a third one, about who knows them best, etc. Except one of them only know the third character via an online game where the third character, who is a girl, plays as a guy.
The translation has both of the characters in the discussion referring to that third character by the pronouns they know her by in English. And neither is reacting to the other calling them “he/she” even though it’s the “wrong one”. A note in the margin explained that it was due to the pronouns being neutral in the OG language/or being pronounced same/similar, so they don’t realise the other is referring to the third character by a different gender.

I wanted her to reveal her identity first to Dimitri .it’s an unspoken rule of romance fantasy. But it’s alright as rules are means to be broken. And also it seems like Dimitri know as we saw him dreaming about her past self.
