   Started off good and held some promise, but the FL is weak and doesn’t really change anything as of chapter 50. She ‘knows’ what the villainess is up too, but waits until the situation is already out of control before taking any action. The villainess ‘power’ even as a duke’s daughter is unrealistic. She controls everyone from miliary officials to other nobles and merchants with only her father’s name, but nothing of her own. She constantly gets away with everything by crying and acting pitiful. Three times they are ‘trapping’ the Duke with an engagement that was already called off in the beginning of the story. Sigh. Only read if your bored and waiting for updates. Otherwise it’s a waste of time.

    I like this one
    The villainess is actually smart and not just petty with no brain
    I hate her but i dont argue that she is smart
    She manipulates people behind the scene, making strategic move
    She might act and sound pitiful but she is actually calculating everything.
    Not only she has powerful family that backs her, she has clear head and clear goal that is to take everything that FL has
    Her overconfident would be her doom tho
    It’s more like a show off who is smarter between the FL and villainess
    .
    I dont agree that said the FL is weak and cant predict or prevent an event that is happening
    I think it’s more like the FL making a different move from the past and then the villainess is also moving accordingly, it actually shows how smart they both are
    There is no “fixed” event that needs to be prevented. Her parents died maybe, but that hasn’t happened yet (until ch 58), but she is not ended up with her trash husband and not moving according for the villainess wants is show that she is not the same from the past nor she is weak
