I don’t like him this chapter. He’s getting all smexy with her to gaslight her. He’s happy she’s naive so she doesn’t notice it’s his ex. Meanwhile bickering with ex to the exclusion of current gf. I hope upcoming chapters he doesn’t get flaky and a liar.

I disagree. He tried to reject her advances many times continuously telling her that he was ahrah’s boyfriend. However, this girl is shamelessly persistent, and it would be a little difficult to brush her off without being rude. I know he should tell ahrah the truth, but I think he only wants to hide it because he knows he feels nothing for that ex and mentioning her to ahrah might make her feel upset and insecure. So, even though his method might not be right but his intentions are good.

And he never tried to exclude ahrah from any conversation. It was the girl who kept trying to do so. Didn’t you notice how he ignored her and fed ahrah infront of her to reiterate that he loved his current girlfriend and was only there to help her with her novel not as her ex Co worker. It was an obvious signal to back off but if even after that the woman continued with what she was doing, he could have done nothing.
