Summary
Wicked Obsession
Seo-ah has been secretly taking contraceptives for a year behind her husband Tae-hyuk’s back. While she continued to engage in sexual relations as he desired, she eventually uses their inability to conceive as a pretext to demand a divorce. However, as if he knew everything all along, Tae-hyuk scoffs at the pills she takes.
“If you want a divorce, give me my child.”
She ends up conceiving his child, but Tae-hyuk realizes that Seo-ah can only be happy if she is away from him, so he lets her go. Seven years later, his repressed feelings—his child, his woman—resurface as a wicked obsession.

It is DRAMA, but in a very fun way

Both her and his family are horrible people so far, except the father in law for now. The ML is a jerk too, so far, even though he didnt always behave like a jerk at the beginning of their marriage. The FL is only suffering while she stays, the more she stays the more she has to endure and the ML who dont understand feelings and basic things outside of the busniess world, is of no help at all…. though the story is somewhat touching, in a way

I would argue the father in law is the source of all the garbage. He raised/didn’t raise his son into an emotionally stunted, work-obsessed jerk, turned his wife into the monster she is via neglect and fostering jealous insecurity, has pushed his son to fill obligations to marry, have a kid, run the business, etc. despite consequences, and done jack all for his daughter in law for years. So the father in law taking the extremely minor action of asking after her doesn’t suddenly make him a good person (especially since he didnt call the cops after the attempted murder he witnessed)
