I really don’t like the emperor like I can understand wanting your child back but his way of going about it is super reckless. He knows his current wife is the reason for him not knowing his daughter and yet he hasn’t thought to investigate why that was or how she was keep it from him for so long. Maybe if he did he’d learn that his current wife has been torturing his daughter this whole time and maybe returning to the royal family isn’t the best time right now
I totally agree madhatterSJ! He talks about protecting her from the empress and all hazards but he doesn’t do anything about getting rid of the empress which is so frustrating. He should obviously have more power than the empress and he already knows that she lied about his ex-wife having a daughter and not a son but he still just leaves the empress be.
