Nah I don’t even remotely feel bad for the bio-father. Mostly because how he treated Shushu in the past life. I don’t feel bad for the bio dad. The issues stated when he had multiple wives, this created a power struggle and an unsafe situation. Second, he should have protected her mother and Shushu before the empress faked Shushu’s unaliving. Far as we know the empress may be behind what happened to Shushu’s mother as well. I would feel a little bad for the bio dad if he didn’t reject Shushu and banish her to the mirror. Ultimately, he does not deserve Shushu. Maybe he vanished her to protect her maybe he did it because he was brainwashed. But staying away from bio dad is better for Shushu. Although the banishing hasn’t happened yet for bio dad, it still happened in the original storyline and Shushu is still traumatized by it.

I don’t blame the bio father and brother, and I’m sure there was manipulation by the empress in the past life/original story. However, for Shushu’s sake, she should continue to live with the duke whom she is most comfortable with and will be safer with. Should her bio family want her back they should solve the internal problems first.
