I finally decided to give this story a read, and this is as far as I can go. It’s dragging a bit too much for me, the whole relationship with Daniel is confusing, and the translation has been all over the place. Eugene talking to Cain at the ball about her choosing Daniel because they just treated her like someone who was going to leave felt so shoehorned in to justify her choice. I find basically all of her choices baffling. She is so appallingly insensitive to everyone around her just because she’s keeping her survival a secret. It was mildly amusing at the beginning, but it’s just so unbearable to watch the further her condition progresses and these other characters sink into despair. You could have done so many other things to avoid your brother killing you besides choosing to leave everyone behind to fake your death and live a carefree life. You made these people love you only to break their hearts. And I honestly don’t think I can stay here to see the aftermath of the truth coming out. There are better transmigrated fangirl stories out there for me to devote my time to.
