I think this is the first time in one of these stories that I’m kinda on the ex’s side. The bigger thing is that they’re incompatible, but I don’t think asking someone to throw away rotten food and wear decent clothes is unreasonable. He didn’t even tell her what to wear, just to put in some effort. Usually the “Chapter 1 ex” is just a completely terrible, unreasonable person. This time, all I can say is that them breaking up was for the best.
