The whole sister-in-law plot line is dumb. If she can step down as Duchess, so can he (as Duke). He could just give it back to her and that would solve like 90% of the issues in this story, how is there not even a sentence explaining why she wouldn’t just even attempt to demand it back as opposed to kidnapping people?
fr???? but i feel like even then shed probably try to kill him instead (no matter what he would be a ‘threat’ to her son’s inheritance because he is older and has more influence..)
