To be fair. The childhood friend explicitly talked about marrying Dane being a childhood dream. The prince is extending an invitation under the pretext of “I’d like you to have this as thanks for what you’ve done for me in the past.”
Also, I’m kinda getting the feeling like Glen doesn’t know that his mother might be plotting something. Like using the potential of him dating Daisy as leverage to get him to do what his mother wants him to, whether that is becoming crown prince or not.
