I absolutely love how natural the interactions feel, and that they’re not afraid to have the ML have things he’s not good at. And, unironically, I absolutely adored the arch with him cutting down the tree and accidentally upsetting his daughter, because sometimes do things with good intentions but still end up hurting someone they care about because it was rushed/not thought out, and how it needed to be made up for in some way.
