Basically, they’re talking about the old count they met the other day, who seems to potentially, unknowingly, be the father-in-law of the current Guild Leader (Mr purple hair), and thus the grandfather of the future guild leader. The one Mr purple mentioned having a fever.
– Daisy and Duke are discussing if the Count and his son and/or grandson inlaw are aware of each other or not.
– Daisy argues that they have to seeing as the grandson uses the Santorini name later (crime to use the name of a family you’re not related to, I guess).
– Duke suggests that it could be that the Count is aware of the connection but doesn’t believe it because there’s a chance his in-law is just coming to him after he became someone with power/influence and would then make him seem like a scam artist to the Count.
– Daisy thinks back to how she was hauled in because her having owned an expensive bit of jewelery was seen as suspicious in this world even though she had obtained it legally/honestly.
