That made me tear up for her. Atleast she got to have some precious time with her mom. It’s had to be hell for her mom cuz when you get to the point of counting the days so you make you never never forget any of them is something I wouldn’t ever want someone else to experience

It could have been due to the accident. Hitting one’s head and being unconscious for days can cause a shift in personality. I personally hope that’s the case since Isekai storylines for excuses for things tends to really get a bit boring, and discounts the leads.
