Nope. Any possible tiny shred of pity I felt for Max is gone. Like in every future that she’s gone through. He literally said it was her fault at the very end while he killed himself. None of this has been her fault, it’s been his father’s fault, the Duke’s fault, and his own fault (from his perspective). He obviously knows that she has been crazier and crazier because of him specifically avoiding her. She’s just the only person he can actually be mad at and take it out on, if she ends up with him I will riot
