The Empress was pure evil but the emperor’s betrayal for bringing consorts and loving another but it was all her fault as she did not really shown true love as well. It was possessiveness. I think the emperor cannot do anything as their heart is binded and no one came forward. All are afraid of the Empress. What an awful story.. So Helene does know what happened. What betrayal is Helene talking about? Layla was an innocent child. She is also crazy like her mother. Hmmm. Though pity het for being used by the empress.

Man, seeing that she was a once in a rare character design I am rooting for the Queen. She is bad ass l, calculating but her flaw is that she’s the villain of the story.
