So for people who are confused this chapter is about how the grand duke (the dad) is worried about whoever is polluting people as it could affect a large amount of people and be catastrophic. What we are seeing with the young duke (eldest son) and little lord (youngest son) is that they are also getting flashbacks of the future from their first life. They only see flashbacks when something from their first life changes but is similar. For example with young duke had a flashback on the flower being hidden under the table because he originally did that to Siena (hope i spelled that right) with the amulet she made for him. With the little lord he is having a flashback because originally the conflict was between the blonde girl and the redheaded girl and he hated Siena because of her behavior and how the blonde girl portrayed her to others but the current conflict is about how Siena solved the problem in a mostly peaceful manner and he doesn’t hate Siena. Sorry for the long post but I hope it helps.
I think when that girl stole Seina’s power, she lost the ability to purify the air, which in turn allowed corruption to sneak in and affect everyone, including the family. They currently are not affected, which is why Seina is so confused by their actions.
