The antagonist is just to dumb… in their former life she was a skilled manipulator but she’s just psychotic and dumb now. Doesn’t bother trying to pretend or see how what she’s doing affects anything, not saying she should care. But she should at least be acting like she does. Only reason the story hasn’t already ended with her bad ending is because MC is being real dumb as well.

She wasn’t a skilled manipulator, she was a bully and she still is. She had the opportunity to use what someone loved to control them and she milked it. She’s still doing it except now it involves the lives of others. She has no great skills other than her pretty face and the fact that she inherited the body of a princess people used to know as a good person. That’s her only advantage and the one reason she’s gotten this far.
