Sucks that that was the last they showed for the Marquess, didn’t feel like proper closure for a character like him, and the whole treason plot felt way too rushed. You don’t just build up the entire story for one moment and make it last less than a single chapter!!! It didn’t feel like it properly played out. Next second I knew Baldwin was already somehow decapitated almost as if scenes were missing, felt very messy. But other than that, I loved this story, the character’s sarcasm, banter, plot and all! ❤️ If it weren’t for the rushed plot points, this story probably would’ve been rated higher bc the dialogue never felt lacking & I enjoyed it just as much as my 4.0+ stories!!
