I’m sorry, but this is extremely underserved. Erina didn’t “overcome desire” she merely realized her plan has gone awry and her ally didn’t care about her + was executing a dangerous plan. She didn’t repent for trying to KILL her sister, and in all honesty if Scheuer died according to her plan and thus hadn’t been able to directly interfere with her stolen ability, I highly doubt Erina would even reflect on her ways enough to stop herself as she did! In the end even her “repenting” is actually Scheuer’s doing!!! She does not deserve to have Scheuer herself care for her in the end, when literally none of this would have happened had she not tried to kill her sister to STEAL her birthright! And like,,, that wasn’t even taken into account in her sentencing! She was merely punished for having a role in harming the North??? That’s absurd! She should’ve been executed along with Silcaro, or at the very least lost a limb so as to not try to harm anyone ever again! And they are saying Scheuer herself would have the chance to make her the head of the Netri family after EVERYTHING ERINA DID TO HER?????? oh my goodness, what IS this bullshit????
