I like how Harriet is pretty clearly showing to the Duke she’s not really reading into anything he’s doing, or being conceited about his efforts.
Also, I’m willing to bet Bella found out about the date and set her own party for that day on purpose. Especially since she just “happens” to be giving out soap too.
