I am very surprised of the amount of FL that are bad with reading emotions. When it comes to men, it’s no surprise there, they are basically clueless. However, women are known to be more observant when it comes to emotions. Thus, I am very surprised that she couldn’t tell what was going on with ML. It’s so obvious he is in love with her and because he is he though she would never love him as how he was in past after war, most likely he put him self down over and over again and hid from people. Then on the other hand FL was left all alone in the world and then was basically forced to merry in order to survive, altho she was lucky that she found ML that wanted to be with her. This is yet another classic I misunderstood you and you misunderstood me. Not to mention both of them seemed to be a bit shallow in the past. ML who only thought of “She will be disgust by me so I should avoid her.” without even thinking that it might hurt more and FL that only thought about herself and her needs, which was apparent when she came to him and said “I am bored.” like lol?
Hopefully they both grew out of their childish and shallow tendencies.

I mean if she said she married a man she never knew and now she meeting him before his dark phase they should get along good a lil hard times but I can see a good ending. 👀😊 it’s Not a bad story.
