I didn’t know if she was a good person or just some two-faced bitch but according to shat I’ve read so far, she really do seem innocent. I hope there’ll be character development for Helga, and I don’t know. I just think that if Hyllian is really a good person that she doesn’t deserve to be treated like that. The duchy is all to blame.

I feel really bad for Hyllian. Helga couldn’t oppose her mother and father, and instead decided her revenge on poor Hyllian. I hope the two sisters will get along, but i think Hyllian is going to get corrupted instead.
I’ve been against Helga’s revenge plan from the start, but was just hoping that her sister turned out to be a phony so that I wouldn’t hate it as much. Helga’s mother deserves the revenge, but her sister hasn’t done anything to deserve this. Just as Helga is not to blame for her mother’s abuse, so is her sister not to blame for her mother’s love. The adults are just f%$$Ed up.

I’m telling you, the mother is so stupid. She should have told her from the start about the switch and lied saying that Helga was on board with the switch so she didn’t feel as bad. But no, she lets her daughter with no etiquette go to such a party unprepared. She doesn’t want to admit it but the mother depends on Helga WAY too much, since she left her “Precious” daughter in Helga’s hands.
And about Hyllian, she seems genuine…? Here we’ve seen her thoughts only and they seem nice, pure, and she scared Helga feels robbed. Hope she is a good person, because im tired of this witches pretending to be good but are actually a psycho.

Seems like none of you have thought about this from the beginning: the father cheated on the wife with a maid. The maid couldn’t have switched the babies on her own right after giving birth, she had help. Not only did the dad probably know of the switch but allowed his daughter to, they are both his daughters btw, to be mistreated and didn’t correct the situation in any way whatsoever. Yes the stepmom bully a kid but her dad didn’t step up and intervene at all! Then the other mother had guilt towards the kid that wasn’t biological hers but never ask for her own kid back?!?! But shower her non bio kid with lots of love to make up for the guilt?!?! All of the adults are in the wrong here. All of them!
Hmm… I think she’ll be “corrupted” in a sense by her mom honestly. Like at this point, she doesn’t seem bad, if anything she’ll absorb the idea her mom has that everything Helga has done belongs to Hyllian, and maybe that’s how she’ll become an antagonist.
