I get him being cruel when he was young but when he’s in adulthood then it’s less justifiable. Both are abusive towards each other and it’s for the best they didn’t work out. He was verbally abusive while she used her position of power to try to control him.

Agnes was obsessive, but instead of showing some empathy and trying to talk things out with her, he gave her the cold shoulder.
She was his childhood playmate, was always there when he was feeling low, defended him even when it was unfair… To be treated like a pest instead of being a decent person and ask her why nothing else mattered to her.
She clearly was hurt but she had the empathy to help him, which he didn’t reciprocate. Friendship and love is a two-way street, not just one giving and the other receiving.

I dont Agnes is obsessed with him. He was her only friend during the time she lost her mother and nanny while her father and brother are not paying attention to her. She’s a child as well, she found a place without loneliness with him but he misunderstood her. Its not Agnes’ fault what happened with his mother. Both of them have traumas they need heal , same with Kylo. But its just sad that Agnes is being misunderstood when all she wants was attention and love primarily from her father and brother and yet those two havent realize it yet unlike spencer.
