Honestly, this is all messed-up. The Goddess became insane and obsessed on using their powers to save human but ended up killing humans she wanted to protect. The eldest sister was expressing that she actually don’t wanna rely on the Goddess power anymore and don’t want to search for Lycoris.. If only there is an alternative. I think her father’s invention is the answer to all this mess. The father was all to blame.. He probably got insane because of his limited time and suddenly gave up on it.
