i dont like it when they take it out on the maids and other servants the girl was being threatened of her family’s safety on one side and on the other by the one she had to work for, for decent pay on the other and now youre just going to turn on your maid that easily when the one you shouldve turned so quickly like that was the duke? please💀

Yeah but think from FL’s perspective. everyone around her was against her. Her childhood friend betrayed her for some money. The man she loved believed she was having an affair and showed no signs of affection. The maids around her did not respect her. And the one maid that she trusted the most betrayed her completely. All this lead to breaking her conscious. Her taking it out on the maid is perfectly justifiable
