I’m sorry(not), but this guy was a huge red flag, purposefully tortured her, and all for what? You don’t want her to leave so you make her miserable, and then are so shocked when you think she’s trying to kill herself? Why do awful ML’s who torture the FL’s to this point always seem so surprised?

I would have left this story the moment you slapped her the first time, but I wanted so desperately to see if she would escape and there would be another ML to give her a happy ending. Now? Now I can truthfully say in good conscience that this is the dumbest Fl of all time.
