See she finally had that thought too about that she can’t trust if she can’t verify. Also, random personal belief, if healers are really that rare in this society, I would never have healed a child from corporal punishment without first showing those wounds to their guardian (I mean me personally. It doesn’t matter if healers were rare or not. I still wouldn’t do that), that situation only breeds abuse from “teachers”. I mean you show the guardian.
