All of this is going too fast, all that story with odile and Damian, it’s was really annoying and felt unnecessary plus it was solved WAY TOO fastly and easily. On top of that all that messing things going on with Theo is also proceeding too fast and since I don’t have the exact word, I do say « illogicaly » and unpleasantly. And maybe I read too fast the latest chapter but the duke deserve to know the truth, like come on. You know he cherishes you, he won’t abandon you.
The insecurities the fl has is triggering me, I do understand how and why she has it but after 7 years, come on… time went by but felt like she didn’t mature at all when it comes to her perspectives, she still act like when she was a child. It’s ok to have insecurities considering her position but it’s too flagrant and repetitive.
(And honestly I get that Swan (aka best girl) was a major character in her life but when you’re a child how can she, as a child, think so much about her, I’m not saying that she shouldn’t be grateful but honestly the reaction is just too…
she’s supposed to be clever and smart for a child but honestly she still as the same mentality as when she was 10y 💔)

Gotta be honest Damien was suspicious from his first apparition, I didn’t root for him, Theo is probably the best choice as a ml but that story to justify, add some spice or whatever to their romance feels too unnecessary and weird.
Gotta drop this story on that… it’s disappointing knowing it has a great or maybe decent start and a not so ordinary intrigue (I’m not a English native , so if it appears repetitive or messy it’s normal)
