This is the first time I’m going to drop a series. I just can’t shake the feeling of hate towards the ML who, when the FL was almost murdered, instead of comforting her, he just scolded her all night. And ignored for days. When in fact it was such a frightening and traumatizing experience she’s had. What? You value the ring more than her life? That doesn’t make sense. Trading everything was the best choice that time. Is he even thinking? She even almost fainted! And, the FL, after that, didn’t even show signs of any trauma, given that trembling and fainting in that scene. In the end, after being grounded, she apologized for being a victim. The ML didn’t. There wasn’t even any reconciliation about it. As a woman who’s had experienced a similar trauma, I’m so pissed!! I was enjoying it so far but now I’m doubting the author. How could you write about something so traumatic and treating it so badly. I’m definitely dropping this.
