If we think about it, if he tells ML, ML might stop having snusnu with her so she never gets oregnant and leave, then he might look for sex somewhere else and cheat? Tho if he knows enough about menstrual cycles he can just avoid the “dangerous days” and still sex his wife up and her never leaving. Idunno, i wanna know her reasons cuz this is the only thing i can come up with to make it make sense lol

Because she knows he is both loyal and a liar. He wants her out of the Escalante family and she told him that she already plans to leave. He knows that Carcel loves his wife so he couldnt tell him what she plans because he would do something to stop her and he believes that Carcel will be better without her. It was a safe bet and she get to have him under her control. She is sharp as a knife

Now that I am rereading this I noticed something that I didn’t at first I get a her she suffered she’s been through it all she’s tired she just wants to rest but the problem is her trying to rest is her hurting others people who care about her around her literally he’s heriting them to point where it makes me even question like I understand her right but then she’s hurting everyone who love who loves her she’s literally hurting them she’s hurting them she’s hurting them and it is like even though sometimes you like I shouldn’t do this but that she does it I don’t know how to put this but I hope somebody gets it

Yes, she is hurting the people who genuinely like her but the thing is – and that’s what I love most with this webtoon – the characters are neiher all black or all white. People who have been hurt don’t always learn a lesson from their past and act in a sane way, they can hurt other people because their past has hurt them so much something shifted in their head. Typically, Ines doesn’t know how to be loved and I am certain she even thinks she is not worthy of love, in a way she doesn’t realize and can’t accept people can love her because of the horrible things people have done to her in the past, the things she herself did (killing herself and the baby) and the guilt she is constantly feeling towards Emiliano, the baby and her. All of that make her cruel because she consider her freedom her ultimate goal and she just wants to achieve it. She is now even feeling a certain guilt towards Carcel and the people who like her because she knows she is using them for her chess game. I think she is changing for the better. All this rant to say, her character was written oh so realistically.
