I usually don’t like stories where FL gets together with someone who was an asshole to her just coz “he changed” but I actually like this one and root for their relationship because unlike the other stories this asshole wasn’t a true asshole from the start and he didn’t exactly change, he was always a man who followed his own convictions from the start, adding to that him cheating was wrong but actually justifiable since their relationship was near non-existent during the engagement period..
So yes, I accept carcel completely as the male lead of this story because he wasn’t a bad guy, just a young dude who acted like most young people would when they’re put in such a situation
