idk why would think this nanny is sane, from the very beginning she has been doing nothing but fill her head with false hope about her father and brother. “One day, when their scars are healed they will love you.” Ridiculous if you ask me, she was basically telling her to take all of the physical and mental abuse from her brother and mental abuse from her father while even servants looked at her as nothing more but an eyesore. To make things even more difficult for her, she tried judging another person solely on their looks and nothing else (thats called a shallow person), and after she has been told just how much the boy means to FL, nanny discourages her again as if playing dumb not knowing what kind of life FL had and how much even one person to a victim of abuse can feel like.
Honestly, she might act kind but to me, she is just like the rest of them.
