she doesn’t remember. she said his name sounded familiar, but hasn’t placed it to the person who ordered the bandits dead. it’s likely she’ll remember later in a big reveal, but for now the trauma has overshadowed what some soldiers were saying

I mean kids don’t know how correlation works like if I tell my brother mommy told me to tell him to do his homework and I had to take his gadget away he’s more mad at me than my mom. Does that make sense? Also the priest was directly involved in mistreating her favourite people I think it’s more reasonable in her child like mind to go with a stranger than someone who abused her “family”(the flowers)
