@maexby, you might be right! Although, I thought it might be the cardinal/duke disguised, because of the eyes and his hair being pink but described to be of a crimson hue. The priest also looks like the doll of the duke just with pink hair. idk though

Well the duke is always scheming. He made her miserable and lonely with the way he told her the truth and all. And now he is provoking her to show her powers.
