I mean, I understand Daniel, he’s second born, has had to be more responsible than his younger brother while also living under his older brothers shadow and we already know he’s lonely. He probably likes the feeling of having someone looking up to him and relying on him as well as enjoying the idea that Violet is closest to him. But now that she’s branching out more he is probably worried that he’ll lose her to his older brother and he’ll once again just be second place. But my guy… If you want to be the most important person to someone, you have to actually show up and commmunicate when it matters most. It takes two, ya know?
