Such a classic line but it just goes to show that people don’t change easily! What twirpish scum. Maybe he’s too narrow-brained to think ahead so he doesn’t think about the fact she can’t afford to give anything more or that none of the belongings in her life are really hers to give (least from her perspective as kind cautious and scared as she always is) because this life was just suddenly handed to her but can’t seven bother to notice that she really cares and is genuine sorry/worried. What a nasty little scum ball he is with that foul behavior !!!

She is a child, a normal one at that. If you want a smart genius kid that can predict the future and stilled their emotions read something else. This is a portrayal of a completely normal child. And it’s accurate too. Especially about a child as empathetic as Violet is.
