I love the plot. It’s so well portrayed, it’s been a while since I read a story that had me HOOKED .The connection between the characters are complex and their emotions and bonding feels raw, human and realistic. They are not perfect, and I appreciate that.
Ex. Ml is obviously a virtuous gentleman before he became blind but soon is perceived as “evil” for his psychological breakdowns. this helps to make us aware how much the fl has impacted his life which in turn also intensifies their twisted chemistry. unlike in most stories, where author will make the ml seem immune even to extreme things like drugs, alcohol…etc
