The queen is so paranoid. Their kingdom is a Patriarchy and since Damian is the only prince in the kingdom, he’s first in line to the throne. Unless something happened to the Crown Prince OR his mother the empress did something stupid and commit something that would bring down the Crown Prince’s reputation, only then the king will transfer the crown to the princess
