This might be a completely wild and out of left field thought, but what if Sanya is actually a bastard of the royal line? She has the same hair color as the emperor, and everyone seems to love her. Garam literally said he has idea why he likes her, he just does. There might be some sort of blood relation as to why the emperor cares about her, although I doubt that – familial love would have to have been seen some generations ago and recorded. Lololol I’m prolly completely wrong, but hey, just a random thought.

I love that random thought. I honestly thought seeing their hair color together made me think the Empress could take Sanya on as her child and she would become the next Ruler. And that was because they have the same hair color, the Emperor could play it off saying they did it for certain reasons

me too- I thought about it because the hair and it would make so much sense of why she doesn’t have telekinesis as an ability as well- maybe a maid stole her or something but that wouldn’t make sense cus it’s says nothing (yet) about the emperor having a child- PLUS- the emperor is a woman, she would know if she birthed a child or not lol
