Why doesn’t she say that when she woke up from fainting after the birth of Ian that she had a dream where he died and she realized in made her sad and thats not what she wants. She thought about everything he’s done so far and tho he is possessive and aggressive at times, he does care for her. She wants to try caring for him to and actually being a family for their son so he grows up better than they did.
She has hated him for so long of course it’s awkward and suspicious if she changes suddenly. Give a reason to smooth the transition and make it believable. Communication is key to a healthy relationship people!
