Again, first of all, the queen obviously has extreme amounts of abuse that was done to her, the prince should have just killed the king during that beating. I mean shoot. He could have just said that the queen did it in self-defense. Is there some law that she has to let her husband beat the living crap out of her to within an inch of death just because he’s the king? (I highly doubt they specifically put that law in and probably assumed it would be covered under regicide).
Also, as in every one of these stories, there’s a secret ML that the FL deserves way more than anyone else and we just got to see him go to his death for her
