i know we want ari to end up with alfonso but yall are forgetting the fact that he’s the king’s son and the ONLY heir to the throne. it’s normal in this kind of story for him to have an arranged marriage considering his noble status due to political reasons. the king and queen wouldn’t let their son marry ANY lady and that’s because he is the future king

I mean let’s also remember she plotted against Alfonso for years and poisoned him in her last life. If it was he who had regressed instead he’d probably be pretty annoyed. She doesn’t really have any more right to string him along in this life as Cesare does to ask her to marry him. They did a pretty good job of showing that.

I adore Alfonso but he has a nasty habit of taking the low blow when he doesn’t get his way. Like bringing up the king not being able to publicly acknowledge Cesare.
